Hello everyone! Have you heard of Monique Germon? No? That’s alright, I haven’t heard of her either until now, so I knew I must introduce Monique to all of you! The title of this post says everything actually – she’s a designer, stylist, photographer, writer and art director (quite impressive, right?). She lives in Australia and has a background in classical singing, piano & extensive travel. Monique now works as a creative professional on various projects focusing mainly on design, writing & photography and her style is all about charm and whimsy – sounds perfectly attractive as I always thought that a good slice of relaxed humor makes art even more stunning and catchy. Here’s some of Monique’s work, but on her site and blog you’ll find much more, so go ahead, check it out!
Hi everyone! Today is one of those days when you need lots of eye-candy images to get inspired of and indulge your eyes with, just crucial for your well-being. Yes, a productive-but-oh-so-exhausting day has hit me today and to relax, but still feel like I’m the blogger who’ll inspire you or just bring up some seriously pretty pictures to enjoy, I want to brighten up your day! I couldn’t do it by myself, so I got a wee help from Alexandra Grablewski and her calm and adorable photography (remember when I blogged about the yumminess she’s shooting?). She has an aesthetic to admire and sense of style to be envy on. That was a joke, no envy! So now, please get your dose of beautiful photography and make your day better!
Lovely friends, I want to wish you a fabulous weekend, find some time to relax and enjoy a breezy weather with lots of sunshine in & out! I’m leaving you now with some beautiful pictures from the Mary Ruffle tumblr – that place is a treasure as it has so many amazingly wonderful and so inspiring pictures! I’m signing off until Monday! Stay cool, friends! xoxo, Ludmila
Does it happen to you that you FEEL what you want to blog about? Like somebody is guiding you to post about something? It just happened to me, but it’s far away from being the first time! Just wondering what this might be. However somebody guided me now in posting the work of a talented interior photographer (was simply craving for pictures of beautiful rooms!). I usually do what I’m told, so I started ransacking through my bookmarks and guess what I found: Donna Griffith Photography! Exactly what I needed: beautiful rooms, peaceful atmosphere & great talent – what’s not to love here?! I though you might like the pictures as well, so please take a look:
Hi everyone! Happy weekend! It’s finally time to relax, forget about everything and just enjoy the two days! My week was pretty good, it flew by so fast! A great thing happened to me: I won an amazing giveaway organized by Brigitte of Covet Chicago, I couldn’t be happier! How was your week? Did you make any plans for the weekend? We have no plans at all! The weather isn’t quite as nice as we would want, so every minute there is a probability of showers, that’s why my forecast says I have two days for being lazy and do nothing (sort of). And one more thing, I know I already blogged about Trine Thorsen Photography, but I showed you such a small part of her work! So, now I thought that another dose of beautiful photography would be exactly what I need to leave you with for the weekend! Enjoy!
Please meet Trine Thorsen, an award winning Oslo based photographer, who has a very unique style and a great eye for shooting lifestyle moments, interiors and food. Her portfolio is stunning, now was one of the few times my heart skipped a beat for it and I couldn’t stop flipping through Trine’s categories. So many things to show you, but oh, so limited opportunity. Nonetheless I do hope you’ll visit Trine’s site to convince yourself about what I said. Her style is feminine, maybe even romantic and what is that a girl wants to see, huh? Throughout Trine’s nine years of experience she managed to work for various Norwegian interior and lifestyle magazines, she contributed to several books and in 2002 she won the gold for the best landscape photography! Intrigued? Here is the proof:
Kate Morris is a photo & prop stylist, set designer and just a talented lady from England, making up beautiful designs for 20 years now. When I looked at Kate’s portfolio, I felt warmth and coziness coming from the pictures, they feel home-y, although with bits of glamour. However, the natural, earthy colors are giving a special charm to the designs and photography. Please take a look:
As you all know today was the day when I was pinning it forward! Apparently everybody enjoyed my post which makes me absolutely happy and satisfied! So I’m still in my cozy, home-y mood today, that’s why I’ve found a photographer whose work suits the best this mood: Judith Dekker, a Dutch freelance photographer who caught my eye with the comfy shoots and I’m sure you’ll love it!
Frances Janisch is a New York based photographer, born and raised in South Africa, who followed her dream and became an inspiring photographer, traveling around the world and doing what she loves the most: taking pictures. You may have seen her work in the recently launched Sweet Paul e-mag as she took a part of the pictures. Frances says that her inspiration is ‘a macro lens and a great stylist’ and you need to see the result of her inspiration, it’s absolutely stunning!
It’s always so addictive to check the portfolios of photographers that you never heard about, but you realize that their work is spectacular and you can’t stop flipping through pages of pictures, isn’t it? Well, that’s what happened when I stumbled upon Gemma Comas and her portfolio. The interiors she’s shooting are beautiful and very inspiring. And I couldn’t define her style, whether it’s a romantic or playful one. However, Gemma is definitely a talented photographer and there is nothing left now than just suggest you to visit her site and blog and look through her food, still life and travel photography – you won’t regret!
