Again dry lips!

dry lipsUgh! I hate this feeling, red lips, so painful and almost bleeding! I’m having this problem every winter, sometimes it can happen during fall or spring. Usually I was treating my lips by myself and it was pretty successful, but now I have the problem, I was trying to cure my lips, but everything I was doing was in vain :(. So, I searched for remedies on Google and that’s what I’ve found: we’re having this problem due to exposure of our lips to sun, cold dry air and…licking! So rule No.1 is do not lick your lips, this is the first and very important step in healing your lips. Actually I would say that this is a pre-healing step. Another important thing is to use lip balm, better non-flavored, and apply it every 1-2 hours on your lips. And if for some reason you’re allergic to components that have the lip balm, create your own! All you need to have is honey, which you need to apply on your lips and which will remove dead cells and will soften your lips at maximum. Make sure you hydrate enough your lips, they need this so much, use a wet cool cloth for this action. For removing the dead cells you can also use a soft toothbrush, massage gently your lips with it and see the results immediately! And one more thing: to bring your lips to life use the ordinary vaseline! It’s cheap, but it’s making miracles with lips. Try to find non-smelly vaseline and start using it as often as you can!

I tried to do the majority of what I just wrote here and unbelievable, but it’s helping! I will continue my treatment and I’m sure that i will be the winner in the fight against dry lips ;)

Brad Pitt in “Untitled Sherlock Holmes Sequel”?

I just read a big news! “Untitled Sherlock Holmes Sequel” will have the same cast like now: Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law, but the biggest surprise is that Brad Pitt will be there!!! Probably Brad figured out how great is the first “Sherlock Holmes” by Guy Ritchie, since it earned $65 million in just one week-end all around the world. Brad Pitt will be the character of Professor Moriarty and people are actually saying that Ritchie loves Brad, they worked together in 2000 in ‘Snatch’, so I’m pretty sure they will be a great team! I heard the movie will be released in 2011, so we don’t have anything else to do than just wait and be patient :)

Ship modeling

Hello people! This article is dedicated to one of my friends, but he’s not actually a real friend, he’s a virtual one (I met him only on Facebook and no worries, my husband knows him :)). Although I didn’t meet him personally, I know he’s very responsible, ambitious and very, very talented! Talented because he’s building ships! Real ships only on a smaller scale. You should see those ships, they’re absolutely amazing! The idea came to my friend long time ago, when his father was the captain of a ship. At that time he probably felt attracted by ships and like he said: “With a good will and some skills, everything is possible”! If working hard, every day, it can take  up to 3 months to finish a ship! 3 months of daily work!!! Unbelievable how big fans of their hobbies people can be! I wish we would have more people like him, this planet would bloom immediately! :)

All we need is LOVE

Love“Love is any of a number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment” says Wikipedia. But actually this word is too huge and too deep to be explained in some words. Love is what keeps us alive and pushes us to achieve great things! When we’re in love everything is possible, we feel like our life battery doesn’t have any limits and it will work forever. No surprise many sculptors or painters are doing their the best works when they’re in love, when they have their muse, because only when loving we have special feelings and special ways of understanding the world around us. There is no need to say how beneficial for our health is to love somebody and be loved, no pills can replace this treatment!

I’m so grateful to my husband for being in my life, I love him the most! Ok, I understand this can sound like: “pff, nothing special, every wife loves her husband”, but it is different, because all my life, before meeting him, I was sure that love doesn’t exist! I had my theory about this, I was saying that people confuse love with some other feelings like attraction at the beginning of a relationship and habit after some time. But, the appearance of my husband changed my life and my theory too :). So now we’re married and I’ll try to do my best to keep our relationship and feelings always like they are now!

I strongly recommend to you: LOVE EACH OTHER! And love is always somewhere around, just take a look more carefully! Because nothing in this life is more beautiful and vital than love ;)

Let’s welcome the new Sherlock Holmes!

sherlock_holmes_posterAnd again the old and well-known Sherlock Holmes and his irreplaceable friend Dr. Watson, but now with Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law! Besides them, the movie gathered actors like Rachel McAdams and Mark Strong. Hmm, interesting cast! The film, set in London of 1891, opens with Holmes (Robert Downey, Jr.) and Watson (Jude Law) racing to prevent a human sacrifice ritual conducted by Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong). After finally catching serial killer and occult “sorcerer” Lord Blackwood, legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson can close yet another successful case. But when Blackwood mysteriously returns from the grave and resumes his killing spree, Holmes must take up the hunt once again. Contending with his partner’s new fiancée and the dimwitted head of Scotland Yard, the dauntless detective must unravel the clues that will lead him into a twisted web of murder, deceit, and black magic – and the deadly embrace of temptress Irene Adler.

The movie was released on December 25th in USA and 26th in UK and Pacific. The first week-end it earned $62,390,000, being placed on second place after the  movie “Avatar” which earned $75 million. On December 15, 2009, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards with Robert Downey, Jr. nominated for the category Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for the portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. Congratulations, Sherlock Holmes!

Tattoo for $10 000

I couldn’t believe when I first saw this and I need to admit that I couldn’t wait to share this with you! A young woman who needs to educate her son by herself couldn’t find an easier way of earning money than to make a tattoo, on her forehead. The tattoo is the commercial of an online casino portal! Ok, she got this $10 000, but how will she live now? Well, I’m sure she’s pretty inventive and she’ll figure out something. I can only say that at some point I even admire her for being so brave, I guess a good mother can do everything for her child, including crazy changes in her look :)

[How to] Keep warm your relationship during holidays

christmas_partyWe’re in the middle of holiday time and we still have to face New Year, but we didn’t make it up after Christmas. Relax, think you can do it and forget about it! At least for now :). What I want to speak about now are our relationships with the people around us: husband/wife, parents, in-laws, friends and so on, while holidays. I think it’s hard to remain sober after getting ready for holidays and partying, all this crowd makes us crazy, we want to run away and forget about everything and everybody! But we shouldn’t do this, instead we need to analyze the main problems we’re having in our relationships during holidays and try to solve them.

1. Problem No.1 is to have too high expectations. Don’t hope that your family or relatives will read your mind and they will present to you exactly what you were dreaming about for a while. You can easily bring them to what you want if you have tact and if you find the right moments to say things like: “Oh, I saw a really nice clutch yesterday in shop X.”, for example. This is working 100%! Give it  a try and be smarter than everybody else.

2. Problem No.2: you make your partner feel unappreciated. You got a present and now it already doesn’t matter you like it or not so much, you must say a simple “thank you”. If you do it, your partner will be so motivated that next time he/she will try to bring you the moon or at least a star :)! Be grateful and make sure your partner sees your gratitude, this is really important and you can trust me!woman-with-christmas-gift

3. Problem No.3: don’t fight with in-laws! Life can bring you a lot of surprises and I understand, sometimes it’s hard not to fight with a stubborn sister-in-law or to pretend you love an “evil” mother-in-law. Do your best and don’t fight with them! First of all because this is a family holiday and we all should be together and second is do it for your partner, he/she will appreciate this.

4. Problem No.4: your emotions (or stress) are running too high. We all know that alcohol can help in relaxing and bringing our emotions or stress level to normal or even lower than normal. You shouldn’t do it! This will be a help, but for some short time and after it will just make you feel embarrassed and sick. And what will your partner think? Nope, we don’t need extra worries, right? Limit yourself in drinking at the party and enjoy!

Hello there! 28 th December…3 more days until the end of 2009! As I said in one of my previous posts, it’s time to cross a red line at the bottom and count what 2009 brought to us. And I’m not the only one doing this, actually. Vogue analyzed and presented the list of the most stylish women of the year! They’re all gorgeous, but still there is a No.1 between them :)

“Avatar” – interesting facts about the movie

Avatar 2009The idea for this movie the director and writer, James Cameron, had in 1995! Ok, some sources date this as 1999, after the release of “Titanic” by Cameron. Anyway, at that time Cameron didn’t have the necessary 3D technique and that’s why it took so much time to Cameron to release “Avatar”, he started the filming in 2005.

Nevertheless, so far “Avatar”  broke US record by earning $232 million worldwide! Huge number, isn’t it? People all around the world run to see this movie in movie theaters and no surprise it earned so much!

Well, I don’t really like Sci-Fi, so I don’t think I’m interested in this movie, but since I saw that it has so many global fans I might consider watching it. Anyway, what are your impressions about “Avatar”? I would like to read this. :)
