Lately, I’m so much into Etsy. Maybe it’s because that place is the biggest storage of inspiration I’ve known so far or maybe because it’s about all things handmade and it’s always captivating to see what other people are able to create with their hands, right? Anyways, I was searching through Etsy these days and I found one store which is a favorite now! The first fave Etsy store! So exciting! Please, welcome Dedeetsyshop! I’m liking so much their pillows, they’re so cozy. I picked up some of them for you:

Orange and Lavender Romance

Good morning, dear readers! First of all, I want you to know how happy I am because of an extra day-off this week (yay for Friday!). I’m not anticipating the weekend, but I do feel very excited today, on Wednesday :)! Second, I’ll go to my post now. You all know Leslie from A creative mint, who is also writing the Color me pretty column for Decor8, right? I knew you do! Well, today I stopped by her blog and I must confess, one of few blogs I really really adore! Full of flowers and colors – good enough reason, don’t you think so? I’m gonna share now with you a mix of colors created by Leslie, which is so unusual, but oh, so spring-ish!

Rosehip on Etsy

I must admit, Holly Becker from Decor8 made my day today as I’ve listened to her podcast for Problogger and she just gave me a wave of inspiration and ideas! It’s so great to get to ‘know’ (through blogland) such talented people. And while listening to Holly and enjoying Decor8, I spotted this! Rosehip pillowcases Etsy store!!! The colors are so crazy good-looking, bright and so much of summer! I thought I just needed to blog about them and show you all those beauties.

I’m sure you’ll fall in love immediately!

Sticking to the wall

I already blogged once about wall stickers and I’m gonna do it again now as I’ve found a bunch of them on the wonderful Ferm Living. They’re changing the room so much, it can be a dramatic change, as well as a very cheerful and joyful! And there is such a big variety of wall stickers and you can stick one in each room! It’s not a big deal, but just think about the impressions it can leave! Here’s the proof:

White Dream in Copenhagen

It’s not a secret that I have a crush on white color and especially white interiors, right? Yesterday, while reading through different blogs I stumbled upon a very white home, decorated with modern style and for me it seemed such a neat and inspiring place, I wanted to move in there right away :). Thanks to Emma of Emma’s designblogg for featuring the home of the Danish designer Nina Kejser and and her husband!

Art by Stephanie Levy

I’m not actually a big (I mean very big!) fan of painting, but the creations of Stephanie Levy left me speechless! And I mean it, I was like I can’t get a word of me until I saw all of her works. That was impressing! You probably know who is Stephanie, but just in case you don’t: she’s an American artist and illustrator who currently lives in Germany, Europe. For more info check here and to see the paintings she’s making, just visit her Etsy shop here. Stephanie is mostly painting the places she’d visited, so I guess that’s what impressed me the most, it’s always eye-catching to see how somebody sees Helsinki or Milan, isn’t it? Let’s take a quick look at her works:

Eye-candy of New York Interiors

As promised before, now I’ll bring to your attention the images which impressed me the most from my very favorite interior design book New York Interiors. I must confess that the huge difference between London and New York Interiors makes the 2 places so unique and special! And I really can’t decide where would I like to live or what style is closer to my heart: London or New York. Well, one thing is for sure: I loved both these spaces and their decors and I’m very proud of starting my interior design ‘career’ being inspired by them!

Life in polka dot

Polka dot is a really popular theme for a baby room or furniture. But, did you notice lately how polka dot is being used not only when related to kids?! And I admit that I get melted when seeing this. The look of a polka dot sofa is so innocent and cute, while showing off a challenge. I mean, come on, not everybody would dare to paint the bathroom floor in white and brown polka dots (see picture below). Whether I’m right or not, polka dots smell French (a bit) and it attracts  somebody’s eye, doesn’t it?
