Erik Johnson Photography

Erik Johnson is a Seattle and Washington based lifestyle photographer who definitely knows how to make a photo be interesting and attracting. I found him through my bookmarks and thought “oh my, where was he until now that I didn’t see him?”. However Erik’s photography shows good work with light and details, quickly becoming one of my favorites! With the luxurious interiors as well as cozy neutral colored ones, he is a must-see and I suggest you to check on his portfolio for more eye-candy. Meantime, here are some interiors that appealed to me the most:

Tall Headboards

Have you noticed a sort of a trend lately? Tall headboards are quite popular these days and they work great in a grown-up’s bedroom and even a kid’s room. The variety of colors and patterns is impressive and these headboards can make for a dramatic change in a room. Enough adding to a neutral bedroom a bright red (or any other) colored headboard and here you go, you end-up with a stylish, modern bedroom that doesn’t look overwhelmed with colors, but still colorful – you got the point, right? That’s about headboards, but what about tall headboards? I’m confused a bit. On one hand they’re modern and kind of royal, but on the other hand I really don’t know if I’d go with a tall headboard in my own bedroom. Don’t get me wrong, I love how tall headboards look on pictures and other bedrooms, but I’m not sure I’m in love with them. Here’s some inspiration:

Please enter Yvette Inufio, I completely fell in love with her work. She is the perfect proof that life is all about small details that matter. Her photography is so charming, the soft light is giving some romance to the entire atmosphere. Worth a look, so please visit her shop and blog, she is my this week’s favorite! And to be creative a bit, I thought I should play a little and create sweet collages from Yvette’s photos, tell me what do you think about the idea, should I do it more often?

Loving: Imperial Trellis

I’m seriously thinking I have a crush on Citrine Imperial Trellis pattern. It just looks so chic and it adds touches of royal to a room (after all it’s called Imperial for a reason) whether is on a pillow, wallpaper or upholstery. And yes, I’m loving it a lot lately, thinking where in my home to include this pattern. I found some inspirational pictures about how to use Imperial Trellis:

Andy Liffner Photography

If you want a dose of calming, feels-like-home inspiration – welcome to this post! Andy Liffner‘s photography is all about coziness and positive vibes. The colors of the interiors he’s shooting tend to be warm, creating a relaxing atmosphere and the spaces themselves are decorated in a traditional style which involves the timeless classicism. With lots of neutral colors, the interiors photographed by Andy Liffner are very joyful and romantic though. I thought I just must show them to you!

To Dry For

Hi lovelies! I’m back and I missed you so much! Hope you did miss me too :). First things first, thank you for the sweet comments you guys left on the sad event we experienced, means a lot to us! I always said CreamyLife readers are the best!!! Now I must confess that I’m seriously obsessed with blogging as I was away for one day, but it seemed an eternity! I definitely can’t live without you and my blog! And today I thought to kick off this blogging week with an online shop owned by a husband & wife living in England that is pure bliss. They sell and create the sweetest tea towels I’ve ever seen, I mean it! And what about the name of the shop, To dry for? Isn’t it just fabulous? I highlighted few designs I loved the most, but believe me all the towels are gorgeous!

The thing is that my husband’s grandfather passed away today and as you understand I’ll be totally disconnected tomorrow. Outside is so sad, with a cloudy, rainy weather and so is in our souls. I’m wishing you a great Monday and week ahead! Love your life as it’s so precious! I’ll be back to blogging on Tuesday and I hope to see you then. Sending blessings your way! xo
