Blogger to blogger: yellowtrace

Hi, friends! Today I’m really excited to have over a darling girl, my favorite Aussie Dana of yellowtrace with a ‘blogger to blogger’ post! Dana is not only an inspiring person, always with fresh ideas and great finds, her home is blissful (blogged about it here) AND she’s actually Serbian! Well, you know the story, a few months ago Dana sent me an email introducing herself and ever since I was admiring her every day! I’m very thrilled to have her here today!

Color+Inspiration: White, Black & Camel

Hello, my friends! We’re on half way to weekend, so get excited, we’re almost there! Yesterday while flipping through my brand new and first issue of Norwegian Elle Interior I came across a picture which had me enlightened. How didn’t I think before about black, white and camel color combination? I mean in my book these three colors are the image of modern, stylish yet warm and cozy interiors! Just feels this way! A timeless inspiring look of a black and white space is undoubtedly the chicest thing ever, but when these two are accompanied by a natural, indeed a warm shade (and don’t get me started on how trendy camel is this season, both in fashion and interior design!) you know that you did GOOD!

Stylist Lo Bjurulf

Lo Bjurulf is a Swedish prop stylist, set designer and overall a fabulous artist! Whatever she does is pure perfection, every detail has its own wow-factor and I doubt I’ve seen something similar in the last couple months. Actually I’m so impressed with Lo’s work, I can hardly find the right words to express my admiration and love for her portfolio, I could stare hours and hours without blinking, seriously!

How are you today? Although outside the weather is awful (raining all day long like crazy) and I’m feeling lazy and sleepy, I can call this day a success mainly because I got in my mail Norwegian Elle Interior thanks to Dagny! So exciting! Thank, girl! Also, I set up a Tumblr account, but I can’t call this a success, I can’t figure out how to find people so I can follow them. So I have an idea, if you have a tumblr account, follow me and I’ll follow you back, we’ll all be happy :).

Ok, enough chit chat, here’s the gorgeousness of Lo Bjurulf:

MUUTO

On Saturday I was in Supermarket as you all know. So while the other girls were lusting after designer clothes and shoes (they’re allowed, after all they’re fashion bloggers) I was having my eyes on lamps, furniture, pottery and this kind of things. That’s when I spotted Muuto, a company bringing a modern twist into Scandinavian design. Supermarket carries their products and I was simply in love with Muuto stuff! FYI, muutos means perspective in Finnish and I think that this is a pretty amazing name for a company. Muuto’s products are clean, modern and the best of them is that they’re colorful and vibrant! I needed to share with you my find, so please enjoy!

Blogger (and not only) meet up

Hi everyone! I’m taking a break from Serbian Made this week, but have to share some exciting moments and pictures with you! This past Saturday we had our first blogger meet up! It all happened in Supermarket Concept Store (pictures of this stunning store here) and I couldn’t be more thrilled that I got to meet new faces, bloggers and just the loveliest girls ever! Most of them were bloggers, fashion bloggers if to be more precise, I was the only design blogger there, but nonetheless we definitely had what to speak about and I constantly had the feeling that I knew those ladies since forever! So, who were the attendees (in no particular order): Jelena, Vanja, Jovana, Jelena (soon-to-be blogger), Milica, Marina, Marija (interior designer and furniture creator) and me. Few other bloggers couldn’t make it, but I hope they’ll be with us next time. Alright, here are some pictures courtesy of Jovana and mine :)

P.S. Supermarket was so kind to host us and even more – give us a shop tour and we could even take pictures (which is not allowed for regular visitors), so for this thank you, Supermarket and the amazing guy who was our guide, Sale!

This Week’s Recap

Hi everyone! As all of you know, today is Friday, last day of the working week, the anticipation of the weekend, with late breakfasts, plenty of cuddling under cozy blankets with a book and a warm drink. Instead of treating you with another home tour or color+inspiration post, I decided to do a recap of my week, sharing with you things you maybe missed reading  or I missed telling you. I’ll admit that I’m a bit nervous to neatly organize all my impressions and thoughts from this week (although it’s not a BIG deal, right?), it’s like I feel I’m writing a short autobiography, based on one week’s events, you know what I mean?

Château de Chantilly

I tweeted yesterday that my husband surprised me with a design magazine when he came back from work, remember right? Well, he bought an issue of French Art & Decoration which is a pure treasure! This magazine is the queen of mood boards, first of all! So many of them: boho, wood and colorful inspiration, I couldn’t stop staring! However, one article caught my attention and it was about a château in France, the town Chantilly called Château de Chantilly. That place is marvelous, people! High ceilings, plenty of velvet fabric which is divine, gold accessories galore, stunning artwork, rich hues and mid-century ambiance to name a few of the gorgeous details of the château! One thing to say – take me there!!! Here are pictures:

2 by Fryd magazine

I’m sure you remember when back in May I wrote about an online magazine authored by Jeanette Lunde (see here). Well, I’ve been dying to see the second issue of the e-mag and it finally happened! 2 by Fryd is out today! Jeanette shared with everybody the result of her work from the last couple months and she didn’t disappoint one more time. The magazine is nothing, but an inspiring place filled with airy pictures and blissful colors! Hundred pages of pretty colors, light atmosphere and let me tell you that it’s a delight to flip through its pages! As every decent mag, 2 by Fryd will tempt you with food and travel photography, home tour and more, so run don’t walk!
