Terrariums

Terrariums (or vivariums according to wikipedia) are my new crush. Especially loving terrariums with succulents planted in, they just feel so stylish accessory for a home! It’s not your average plant, it’s a terrarium and you have the freedom to choose the container for building it, its size and shape. Now imagine the multitude of glass containers out there and the amazing impact terrariums can have on your home. And although terrariums are meant to help science, nowadays they can be a gorgeous home decoration, an easy DIY project and a result of your creativity. Here are some inspiring ideas of terrariums, as well as a DIY project I want to share with you. By the way, I’m seriously considering making a terrarium myself and hoping that you’ll be inspired to make one as well!

Here’s the tutorial, but to prove you how much I love you all I found a video about creating a terrarium! I hope you’ll enjoy it! (the video is found via Design*Sponge)

Would you consider having a terrarium in your home? If so, what would you plant?

Sandy, I’m sure one of these would be a great birthday present! But I think would be much more appreciated by your husband if he knows that YOU did it for him and not just bought the terrarium! It’s up to you! xoxo
