The trend of dark walls has been around for like ever and honestly I thought it will go away with the time. Yet it’s still everywhere and everyone seems to love it and can’t get enough of it. I get it though, we all need some drama every once in a while and such drastic change might be what one needs at some point in life, I mean how much can one swoon over bright colors or innocent pale shades without tiring of it? One year tops, if you ask me :)

I have a piece of art by Olaf Hajek that bursts with vivid colours and bold patterns. I always imagined hanging it on a feature wall in a dark anthracite hue. I could see that work very well. Just need to move in a somewhat larger apartment. Thanks for sharing these inspirations!
