I’ve been planning to write a post about oversized mirrors for quite some time and it’s finally happening! I find myself flipping more and more through online ‘pages’ (read sites), pictures, staring at some gorgeousness to die for! I’m smitten by the impact an oversized mirror has on a room, they bring elegance and grandeur to a space! Not to mention that a mirror like that can easily be the focal point in a room, that’s why choose carefully – you don’t want to create misleading impressions about your style, right? I for one would choose an option from too: shabby chic, worn off and washed out OR a golden Victorian beauty to greet me every time I come home.
What would you choose? And would you actually bring an oversized mirror inside your home?
Oversized mirror as headboard? Yes, yes and yes! Not sure how does this sound, but I’m so happy with the pictures I found for this post – not only they’re inspiring, they’re also right up my alley, expressing just perfectly my design aesthetics!
Opinions? Thoughts? Yay or nay? :)

I love the idea of oversized mirrors. I could imagine it to look really opulent for a bedroom/dressing room.
I have a floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobe in my room and it make it look bigger/brighter! :)
I love big mirrors!!! These images are gorgeous Ludmila! Great post x
I love big mirrors, I think that they can create an amazing atmosphere in a room or completely change the feel of one.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! You can never have enough mirrors, the bigger the better! I just saw a big, tall mirror at HomeGoods with a cool peacock blue frame – trying to figure out where I could put it if I bought it . . .
Beautiful roundup! I am a fan of big mirrors and they can do so much for a space!
I adore mirrors as every normal woman, but I probably even have a little obsession with them…
I do love how the mirrors can change the space of a room and bring something sophisticated as well.
Great post! ~ xoxo

Yep … Love overscaled mirrors. Your choices were great. Just NEVER forget what is being reflected back, so important :)
Love this post, you’ve collected great images! I think I would try something like this if I had the space, image nr 2 and 6 would be my inspiration. Thanks for sharing:)
Hi thank you for your article. Any clue where to buy a big mirror like the ones in your pictures? Specifically the one the size of the bathroom vanity picture of living room white antique mirror right below? Thanks so much
