Remember when I posted about my perfect reading nook? Well, today I found the perfect reading room (no need to name the difference, right?). The reading room of my dreams belongs to the folks behind the blog The lettered cottage and is stunning thanks to its simple design, natural textures, plenty of light and inspiring wall art. Without further ado, here it is:
The lucite trend
Are you a lover of lucite furniture pieces or not? I have to admit there is something special about them, something that makes lucite very appealing and modern. Plus the transparency of lucite makes it work in every room, combined with any hues, styled in different ways and I guess there can’t be dilemmas about the color of the sofa in your living room or the color of your vanity in the bedroom when there’s a lucite item right next to it. Works for me!
Happy Brooklyn inspired home
I just came across a happy home indeed. With many colors and bright blooms I can’t decide whether I like more the bold blue of a wall or the hot pink stools. Oh and there are also the red hanging bulbs in the bathroom – can it get better than that? Check it out:
Mowie Kay: Lifestyle + food potography
Such a delight to browse through the portfolio of lifestyle and food photographer Mowie Kay. Every picture makes you drool leaving you mesmerized by the beauty of the colors and the setting itself. Mowie is no new figure in the blogging industry, so there are bug chances you saw his work, but I still think it’s a win-win situation: if you know Mowie’s photography – it never hurts to look at stunning food pictures, right? And if you weren’t familiar to Mowie Kay – here’s a perfect way to do so and start your week on a delicious note!
Weekend
Any fun plans or just sleeping in? No matter what do you have aligned – enjoy it!
Have a good one, friends!

Bathroom TDF
Silly title, I know – it’s supposed to say to die for and literally I could die in exchange for having it! The wood makes it warm, the light makes it majestic and that tub is the cherry on the cake! I can’t stop staring at it, so here it is – stare away yourself :)

Happy women’s day :)

Simple living: Belgian style
It’s always great to see how people around the world decorate their homes. To see different designs, aesthetics and just what people feel comfortable with knowing they’re miles away is a huge gift we’re given these days thanks to the almighty internet. That’s why today we’re traveling to Belgium, to the home of Melanie – the owner of Simple Kids, a shop about children’s clothing (by the way adorable!). Melanie lives in Belgium with her two daughters and her home is simple, stylish, clean and very inviting. We can’t resist taking a peek at it, can we?
Handmade: Colorful tableware
I just came across this etsy shop full of hand painted tableware – Aedriel Originals! Plates with colorful chevrons and stripes or personalized messages, bright cups and trays – they’re all beyond adorable and so spring-y. Just imagine a spring soiree or picnic using these – so much happiness coming from a colorful tableware, don’t you think (I think even the food tastes better)? What’s your pick?
Catalina Estrada wallpaper collection
Happy Monday to all! How was your weekend? It finally starts to feel like spring here and I’m super excited about welcoming a warmer, sunny weather! But if you’re still feeling like winter isn’t leaving anytime soon – I have the perfect therapy for you. The artist I’m going to introduce you to now was born in Colombia, currently leaving in Barcelona – Catalina Estrada mixes passionate latino vibes with modern European styles creating stunning patterns that are cheery, eye-catchy and very ‘caliente’ :)! I’m particularly drown to her wallpaper collection, but do check the other items (floral print on umbrellas for gray days? I’m in!):
