Hello, people! How are you doing? Can you believe it’s already Wednesday? Or that’s September 22nd? Quite unbelievable, right? I want to introduce you today to a designer I spotted in the latest issue of Elle Dekor Serbia – Nika Zupanc! Nika is from Ljubljana, Slovenia creating fabulous furniture, flirty, maybe even a bit girlie, but definitely chic! I couldn’t stop staring at the pretty bows, curvy shapes and cute colors she uses when creating her products and I thought her portfolio is a must, that’s why I’m here on a mission – to share all that beauty with you! If you want to read more about Nika (and she has a pretty impressive biography) check here. Oh and her press page is also worth a look, so check that one too :). By the way some of her products are a part of MOOOI collection (Nika and MOOOI are collaborating since 2008).
Happy Friday all! Elle Dekor Serbia, fall issue, is finally on newsstands (they kept us excited for way too long time!), but it’s now available for all and oh the expectation was so worth it! We got to see a blissful cover, designed in the colors of fall, bringing peaceful feelings to it. The inside part didn’t disappoint either! We saw stunning folklore-inspired pictures, with patterned layers and cozy colors! Seems like rich hues are what rock interior design scenes this season. We were introduced to its majesty, wood, which also seems like settled down for a while, emanating warmth and natural beauty all over! We were invited to the home of painter Bojana Ban, architect Slavica Trajkovic, Lea Aviani and more. Oh and by the way my friend Marija‘s Jimi chair is also in Elle Dekor! How cool is that? Congratulations to her! Here are some pictures, so you can see what I’m talking about!
Happy Friday everyone! Hope your week went smoothly and that you’re ready for a R&R time (congratulations to my readers from Canada and USA for having an extra day off!). This week Elle Dekor Serbia (man, how I adore this magazine!) gave us a roundup of Belgrade apartments featured in the magazine at some point. A small confession: I put my hands on Elle Dekor not so long time ago, so that being said – I missed some issues from before. That is the reason I was very thrilled to see the mentioned pictures; seeing that there are talented and stylish people here wasn’t a surprise, but seeing the proof of the fact was something exciting! So I’d like to share with you now some pictures, so you can have an idea of how are apartments in Belgrade decorated (of course interiors vary due to owners’ styles and preferences, but still):
Good morning, friends! First thing I’m gonna write about now is a very talented and inspiring woman, Ingrid Jansen from Wood & wool stool, all the way from The Netherlands! Ingrid was so kind to let me blog about her arty job. She is another feature of Elle Dekor Serbia and I thought I’d share with all you her amazing wood&wool business. Actually it’s more a pleasure than a business, I mean just think, making wooden stools with crocheted covers. Extremely cozy and it’d look incredibly comfy in any home, don’t you agree? When she started, back in 2008, she was making stools, but now, after only 2 years she expanded her business to create now so much more! Proof? Visit her Etsy shop and Flickr and see it yourself! Oh yes, and stop by her blog too for even more coziness!
