New year, new start

Hi, friends! Welcome to 2013. I hope your holidays were filled with peace, light and merry moments, but it’s now back to reality, as harsh as this may sound. With every new year we all tend to set goals – be happier, eat healthier, work more/less – no matter what are these goals they help us grow in many ways, making us stronger with every achievement. I like setting goals, I enjoy writing them down, it feels like I wrote my life plan for the next twelve months and being a control freak that I am it feels very comfortable knowing I have it all organized this way. I still haven’t finished my 2013 list, but hey – planning ahead asks for responsibility, I’ll just take it slow :)

So my question is, did you write your 2013 resolutions?

It’s the first post in 2012 so let me welcome you all to a new year which will surely bring many adventures, joyful moments and achieved goals. I like to think about a new year as a blank canvas, with plenty of space to paint your life the way you want it. Which is why today I especially feel drawn to clean lines, uncluttered spaces and white interiors – exactly what we need now – new beginnings with nothing to interfere with our life mission and vision.

Happy 2012, sweets! Make it memorable!

Happy {sparkling} New Year!

We’ve been asking ourselves for a way too long time where has the time gone, pinching ourselves in denial that with every month we’re closer and closer to a year to finish and a new one to start, with new opportunities, exciting moments (or days, or months), joy and laughter, lots of these two! Well, believe it or not we’ve made it – 2010 is about to wave good-bye to us while 2011 is smiling wide, preparing for a group hug. I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am to 2010 for everything it has brought to me: many amazing (virtual) friends, a new job, mind-blowing blog achievements I could only dream of and much, much more! Something tells me 2011 will be better and I heartily believe in this (you should too!). For this New Year’s Eve I predict the sparkle trend, I see it everywhere and dare I say it’s a must? Yes, please!

Happy New Year! I’ll be taking some days off next week, but see you in 2011 anyways! Sending much love to you all!

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow…

Hey everyone! I was just thinking couple days ago, it’s already middle of December and I still didn’t see snow…What is happening with our world?! Where are those huge snow hills? Where is the winter that we were having when we were kids?! For these questions I didn’t find answers, but I finally saw snow today!!! It was snowing all day long, snowflakes everywhere! I love this! Though I need to confess I don’t really like when it’s cold outside, snowflakes are making me melt and I don’t feel anymore that it’s cold, I just see the magic of the winter, the charming spirit of Christmas and New Year and I become happy at once!!!

So, actually snowflakes are not just small pieces of ice that we can see, they’re much more, each of them has its own world, it’s own texture and shape. And may be they seem so tiny, but they’re beautiful, because they’re all different and now I’ll prove this to you!

These are snowflakes if checked closely, with macro photography. Never thought they can be so beautiful!!!

And these are pictures which my husband took today, isn’t this gorgeous?!

And now, just to remind you how enchanted is the time when it’s snowing, I suggest you to check this out!
