If you still didn’t hear about Leslie Shewring then you must be living on another Planet. Leslie is the famous color columnist on decor8 whose posts we breathlessly await every month, Leslie is an amazing artist and photographer, Leslie is the creative person behind this visual delight – A Creative Mint (which is a gem of a blog, by the way!). There is really no need to explain who is Leslie, right? She’s THE blogger we must know and look up to :). One thing I love about her blog is how well categorized are her posts, it’s so easy to browse when you have them organized by colors! Mid-week treats
I know I normally don’t post about food here on the blog, but every once in a while I’m tempted to share with you delicious photography from all around the Internet. I though I’d start with macaroons, because everybody loves them, but then there are these adorable little cupcakes that I can’t stand. Oh well, enjoy these few pictures and if you’d like to indulge yourself more, hop on my Pinterest board which is created especially for cupcakes and macaroons - because I really think that even lovely (edible) treats might inspire us :)

How pretty and full of of joy is this engagement? Looking at pictures of this kind makes me happy (for the photographed people) and lifts my mood up to the sky where I just can’t stop smiling and feel the bliss and emotions filling the shoot. A day in Novi Sad
Hello, my lovelies! I missed you so SO much, I’ve been visiting my parents the time I was away, so thank you for understanding the lack of posts (I was offline for the entire time, but not because of Internet connection – I decided to disconnect for awhile and get some rest). Now I’m back and cannot wait to get back to my little routine (who would’ve thought I’d like my routine, right?). Unfortunately I didn’t take any pics in my home country, but today the husband and I had a little trip and visited Novi Sad, a beautiful city in Serbia and I did take pictures that I’d like to share with you. The architecture I’ve seen today was beyond amazing and if you know what is Novi Sad all about, you know that this is a peaceful, old town, with tiny streets which feel untouched time-wise. All in all, a place you must visit if you happen to be in Serbia!

Just as I said in my previous post, I popped by again to wish you all a lovely weekend, with a pretty post which I hope you’ll love. I figured that we all love balloons. All of us, no exception! And so I put together a small collection of balloon-y pictures which are cheerful, airy, dreamy and all in all beautiful pictures. It’s such a delight to flip through my bookmarks, you know? After a long day, I finally come home, have dinner, grab my laptop and dive into the HUGE list of bookmarks I’ve saved throughout my blogging experience. Bookmarks of sites that made me gasp, smile, be mesmerized and inspired all at once. Today was no exception and while scrolling and checking my bookmarks I came across this great photographer, Mikkel Vang! Perhaps you already know about him as his work appeared in famous shelter magazines such as Vogue Living, Elle Decoration, Harpers Bazaar and more. I loved Mikkel’s work mainly because of the stunning balance seen in his photography: chic extravaganza and a livable ambiance, airy light places against dark, very dramatic ones. And it all felt perfectly good, with no exceeded limits.

Today while going through my multiple and very inspiring bookmarks I came across a name which caught my eye and spoke to me, whispering a tempting ‘stop’. I’m sure this happened to you at some point, right? Well, you won’t believe how mesmerized I was when I clicked on the category ‘Interiors’. All the pictures were right up my alley, very shabby chic, romantic and even feminine – and what else can a girl ask for after a working day :)? So the magic name is Miki Duisterhof and she’s a photographer, a fabulous one (just wait to see her clients: West Elm, William Sonoma, Veranda and many, many others!). Seriously, I was hypnotized by all that beauty! Here’s what I’m talking about:

I’m more and more in love with Romanian artists and creative minds. First I must mention Freshome, a fabulous site about interior design (last week I found out that the founder of the site lives not so far away from me – exciting!), today I read about Mario Badescu, who is also from Romania, known worldwide for his line of skin care products and now Miha Matei, a talented photographer born in Romania, now living in New York and Los Angeles with her husband and son. In Miha’s portfolio I found pictures which were in my inspiration files since forever, yet I never knew that they were taken by her, like the below picture which can be seen in the post about Ashe+Leandro Interiors. Miha’s photography is stunning and her portfolio is one of those which you want to fully take from her site and just put it on your blog, it’s that good!
Stefan Thurmann Photography
Stefan Thurmann is a Hamburg-based photographer who takes some seriously wonderful pictures! Of course his work wouldn’t be the same without the brilliant stylists he’s working with, but nonetheless his eye catches the beauty of what he’s shooting, far beyond what we all see. In Stefan’s portfolio you’ll see calming, neutral rooms, with cozy blankets and wood all over, as well as some other shoots, more contrasting and stylishly edgy. His work was published in many magazines and without teasing you more, here are few pictures from Stefan’s portfolio which appealed to me the most!
