Oversized mirrors

I’ve been planning to write a post about oversized mirrors for quite some time and it’s finally happening! I find myself flipping more and more through online ‘pages’ (read sites), pictures, staring at some gorgeousness to die for! I’m smitten by the impact an oversized mirror has on a room, they bring elegance and grandeur to a space! Not to mention that a mirror like that can easily be the focal point in a room, that’s why choose carefully – you don’t want to create misleading impressions about your style, right? Shabby and chic

I’ve heard many opinions about shabby chic style, some say its era is over, some call it (excuse this expression) shabby sh*t, others like it only if it’s not in their own homes. I’m in none of these categories. I love this style and for me it will probably last forever. I like it because it’s dreamy and flirty (yet doesn’t feel girly at all!), it’s all about pretty roses, ruffles, white color (washed out, that is), lots of wood and an overall very cozy feeling! Oh yes, and stunning crystal chandeliers, which will blow your mind away! So describing it this way, what’s not to love here? Say whatever you want, on creamylife shabby chic gets a huge yay! :)

Shabby Chic

Hello, my dears! How was your Easter? Did you go Egg hunting? My holiday was pretty much fun, day with family, evening in a cafe on a boat. Today outside is cloudy and cold, I’m at home and although I said “See you on Tuesday” I thought it’s enough being apart from all of you, so here I am :). My week started with Elle Dekor Serbia and now I’ll blog about a home featured in the magazine decorated in shabby chic. If to be straight with you, I didn’t know this style exists until now, but after I saw the pictures of the home of interior designer Alma Muzurović-Šimunović from Croatia, I fell in love! Oh well, I guess my future home has the chance to be decorated in shabby chic, as my love for modern country doesn’t seem to be so big anymore ;).
