So French…

February 9th, 2010

I just stumbled upon a site which is truly gorgeous! It is French and I think it’s more like a photo blog. But WHAT photo blog! It’s so stylish and chic and vintage and just French. You can understand all only by saying French, can’t you? For me France was a always a dream place, with incredible people and simple, but oh, so sophisticated life style! Just adorable!

Here are some pictures which impressed me the most:

Happy “vintage” weekend!

February 5th, 2010

Why Vintage? Because I’m more and more in love with this style! Dresses, house ware, jewelry, photography – adorable! Love that sepia tone of vintage pictures! It’s so eye-catching, isn’t it?

But according to the picture below I should say “Happy vintage weekend with balloons”! Anyways, enjoy the 2 days off and see you on Monday! Or maybe sooner, if I get inspired and impatient to share my inspiration with you :)

When I saw the bridal dress of this vintage wedding, I thought I will never stop looking at it, it’s so gorgeous! And even I kind of decided about my wedding dress, this one left me under big, huge impression! Actually, the wedding itself was a success, bright colors, combination of blue and purple, what can be cuter? Ok, enough words, here are the pictures:

Vintage Bridal Shower

January 24th, 2010

As I said, I love weddings, but I completely forgot to mention about bridal showers which are not less important than the wedding itself! The bride first needs to have her shower with her bridesmaids and then she is pretty ready for the wedding. There are a lot of themes for bridal shower which I will mention one by one. Today it will be about vintage bridal shower, accessories and ideas, inspired by Project Wedding.

I just love these bright and joyful colors! Impossible not to have the best bridal shower ever if considering these ideas and especially this color palette!

Vintage

January 11th, 2010

Vintage style started to be popular at the beginning of XXIst century and since then, the clothing made by that time designers didn’t loose from its field. The important things is to know how to wear granny’s dress with a fancy necklace, clutch and all the others accessories. One of the first celebrity who started to show up in public wearing vintage clothing is Dita von Teese and after her, little by little, we see more and more vintage style on the red carpet, premieres and other celebrity parties. But nowadays, modern ladies don’t wear vintage stuff and expect to be trendy, they like to experiment and combine vintage with ultra-modern and stylish clothing. So do celebrities, let’s see how do they look in vintage and maybe choose who looks the best with this style:

Do you want my opinion? It seems like Emma Watson and Dita von Teese are born for this style! They’re in my top on the first place. The rest look good too, what do you think?
