So French…

February 9th, 2010

I just stumbled upon a site which is truly gorgeous! It is French and I think it’s more like a photo blog. But WHAT photo blog! It’s so stylish and chic and vintage and just French. You can understand all only by saying French, can’t you? For me France was a always a dream place, with incredible people and simple, but oh, so sophisticated life style! Just adorable!

Here are some pictures which impressed me the most:

In Love With Tulips

February 8th, 2010

I love these flowers ever since I remember myself! My father used to bring tulips home – one bunch for me and another one for my mother. These flowers are really simple, but so feminine! For me, they represent the woman, cute and feminine! And some time ago I saw a post on Paige One Events about some flower market in UK and between all those flowers were tulips as well. I got trapped, I felt I just needed to write about tulips! So, I googled and I found these beautiful tulip arrangements!

Manhattan Rainbow

February 8th, 2010

Rainbow, because this is exactly how many colors the apartment below has! The apartment has two-beds, it’s in Manhattan and it’s definitely gorgeous! I wouldn’t mind to have such a colorful room at least, I would probably spend all my day in there :). Well I’m really impressed to see it, it inspired me to paint all my tables and chairs and make my own rainbow!

Green+Pink+Orange Wedding

February 7th, 2010

OMG! This is the only phrase I can say now, after I saw the pictures of a wedding on Paige One Events. The colors are fabulous: green, fuchsia and orange+pink, a combo that will leave everybody speechless! Now I’m stopping speaking, just take a look and enjoy every picture!

Masked E-rings

February 7th, 2010

I just saw on Wedding Bee some beautiful pictures of engagement rings (E-rings) and the most interesting are the ways the rings are camouflaged. People are so ingenious, you can’t believe it! I enjoyed a lot this e-rings’ session and that’s exactly what I’m gonna recommend you!

Finally, my home office!

February 7th, 2010

Yes, I’m so happy and excited at the same time! I didn’t have a home office so far, so I was always blogging in bed, dining table, my husband’s office and so on. And whenever I was asking when I’ll get my own office, I was hearing “eventually” :). But yesterday, finally the moment came! We bought everything we needed to DIY an office table, a chair and voila! I’m writing to you now, sitting in my cutest office :). That’s how everything happened:

Happy “vintage” weekend!

February 5th, 2010

Why Vintage? Because I’m more and more in love with this style! Dresses, house ware, jewelry, photography – adorable! Love that sepia tone of vintage pictures! It’s so eye-catching, isn’t it?

But according to the picture below I should say “Happy vintage weekend with balloons”! Anyways, enjoy the 2 days off and see you on Monday! Or maybe sooner, if I get inspired and impatient to share my inspiration with you :)

More Turquoise

February 4th, 2010

Erin from House of Turquoise is obsessed with this color! You can’t imagine how much of turquoise she has on her blog! But I enjoy this, because I’m an inactive turquoise fan. Inactive it means that I love it, I’m just less addicted to it :). Anyways, Erin’s blog is great, so bright and so…turquoise! Love it! Here is some turquoise inspiration for those of you who share the love for this color, as we do! 100% worth reading Erin’s blog!

P.S. Don’t forget that turquoise is the main color of 2010, you just must consider adding it to your life!

DIY: Kusudama Flower

February 4th, 2010

Hi there! Hope you’re having a great week so far, 2 more days and it’s weekend! Today I’m here to tell you that I think I found out about one more talent that I have :). I like working with paper: cutting, gluing and so on. Today I tried once again myself in this and again I’m pretty satisfied! I made a Kusudama flower, based on Origami technology. I saw the tutorial on Cut out and keep and I knew I can make it! It’s pretty easy, not requiring so much time and it doesn’t require actually any expenses!

Here is what I got:

2 cute Kusudama flowers, with 5 and 6 petals, made of paper (for the 6 petals flower I used a recycled magazine and for the other one regular white paper).

I will do more, to reach a suitable number for a bouquet, but I also saw that Marianne from Noces de coton framed them, so I might do the same, it looks nice anyways!

Whiter than White

February 3rd, 2010

White has been always a color in trend, classical, never dying. And it will always be like this, at least in 2010 more and more designers choose white to be the main and maybe the only color of the room. I said room because it can be bedroom, dining room, restroom or bathroom – white everywhere! Take a look at the pictures below and leave your comments about white :).
