Everyday fabulous {July 26th, 2010}

If you’re in blogland, perhaps you already saw the pictures of the gorgeous shop owned by Anna Spiro, founder of Absolutely beautiful things, Black & Spiro Unveiled. Anna did an amazing job putting together those colors & details which make the shop a stunning & dreamy place! But one thing caught my attention: the tutu desk which Anna  designed by herself for her office. Please take a look:

It’s dramatic, daring and although it’s black, it seems VERY passionate to me! Just look how fantastic it looks against the white walls & floor, the only things which are a little distracting are the lampshade, painting and the inspiration board, they’re softening that dramatic look and are making it little cheerier. As I said, Anna DIY-ed the tutu desk, who wants to give it a try? :)

On another note, I need your feedback. Aren’t these Everyday fabulous posts too overwhelming and too often? Maybe I should reduce them and post one picture every week? I’d really need to know this, so please let me know what do you think!

      I love the desk. Even though it is black, the contrasting white takes away from the darkness. It still seems so feminine to me, and I can’t decide if I would like it as much in any other color!

      The desk should be in a fashion magazine office — it’s stunning.
      As for the posts, I tend to be overwhelmed by sites that post more than once a day; twice on occasion is nice, but multiple posts every day ends up being too much for me.

      That desk is truely amazing – i was thinking it would be pretty amazing in white too. very classic.

      The posts, I think you should post when your inspired, and if that happens to be twice a day, so be it :)

      The black desk adds drama and great contrast. I love it! I agree with Heather, post when you’re inspired and that could mean posting more than once.

      This is crazy!! I love it. The drama is unbelievable. This is definitely a focus piece that I would love to have in my workroom. Thanks for the beautiful pic!

      That is the most out-there desk I have ever seen! It certainly puts a wow-factor back into office work but I think I’d get too distracted by everything that’s going on in the room to be able to do any work!

      I love the feature! I had the same problem with my Desk du Jour series… Did people really want to see a new workspace from me every day? I still don’t really know :) This tulle tableskirt is amazing though I’d love to see it in girly pink!

      Mackenzie, thank you! and I’m asking myself the same, isn’t this just too much? aw, the tutu desk in pink would look so sweet!
