Classic Glamor

Happy Friday, sunshines! Sunny day outside and I’m feeling so lazy today, although I know I’m not allowed :). Ok, first thing first: thank you all so much for the sweetest words of encouragement in my new venture! Yesterday, the entire day I could feel the huge love from my Twitter and Facebook friends, from readers who sent me congratulations by email – don’t ever forget that this means SO MUCH to me and it gives me strength and energy to achieve more and be better every day! THANK YOU!

On another note, I’ve been lately noticing changes in my aesthetic and style interior-wise, you know? If some months ago I was completely enchanted by country, cozy homes with a rustic peaceful atmosphere, then later in time I was blown away by splashes of color in interiors, with patterns galore and an overall modern ambiance – well, guess what: now this has changed as well! For the past few weeks I’ve been more and more attracted by classic and glamorous interiors with high ceilings, rich texture, tufted furniture, crystal chandeliers and timeless colors such as black, brown, beige, golden – pretty chic, right?!

Although I adore classically glamorous interiors, I’m wondering would I be able to live here? I think not, these spaces feel too sophisticated and untouchable for me. Could I say it would be hard to call a glamorous home livable? What do you think?

You have a point there. I think I could visit, but not live with it day-to-day.

I tutored some children once in New York City. The main rooms in the house looked precisely like these — and no one ever really went in them. It was the family room and the kitchen everyone spent the most time in. So while they are quite gorgeous, I do think they’re a strange to live in daily.

This is amazingly beautiful..! And… I love it! Honestly, I think I would be able to live in such interiors and feel sofisticated along wiht them:))

I love glamour, but like everything, in moderation. Comfy with a touch of glam and I’m in!

Incredibly chic! I cannot nail down a specific “style” so do not feel bad… I’m terribly eclectic and very selective. Love these images — the bits of gold are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing them.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend,
    xoxo
