Is it only me or you also noticed that more and more designers and decorators when planning a nursery have a striped ceiling in there? I mean, I love stripes and I’ve proven it to you many times, but there’s just something I don’t get it: why striped ceiling in a nursery? Do babies feel happier when looking up and seeing stripes? Perhaps…If you have an idea why is this trend settling in, please share it with me, I’m VERY curious to know :)

So cute! I love ceiling treatments because they are so often overlooked.
I’m not sure what babies would think, but I’d certainly be happy waking to fun stripes in the morning. Especially those light blue ones.
Babies really notice contrast. I had heard this but first noticed it with my little one when she would look for a long time at the blinds (when open and it is light out, this creates strong contrast stripes). I have no trouble believing that babies would love to look up at those ceilings – they spend more time looking up than we do.
