You guys! I think I just came across the happiest, most colorful site EVER! Not that I didn’t know about the Danish company Rice from before, I surely did, but stumbling upon it NOW, when outside is so gray, we have this crazy-end-of-the-year syndrome and our days are definitely everything except stress-free, Rice was a breath of fresh air, a piece of a party for my little heart and just some cheery pretty pictures, not to mention that they carry awesome, beautiful products that you can actually buy! Doesn’t this sound delicious?
Wood in the bedroom
I need to confess to you one thing: as measureless as my design visions can be, it’s not often that I’m totally blown away by rooms, design ideas and trends etc. (I know – hard to believe, I’m always all about ‘ohh’ and ‘ahh’ when it comes to a pretty space). Yet again, many rooms feel stunning at first sight, but after throwing a few more looks at them, they just don’t feel like fitting your style, life or aesthetics and they seem to blend into this immense world of museum-like rooms, where you don’t see yourself living, cooking, playing with your kids or lounging on the couch. You know what I mean?
I definitely have these moments. I was feeling this way about bringing wood indoors (and I mean the large pieces of it, seen in ceiling beams, walls, floors and just an overall wooden construction). It wasn’t my style. Now it is, blame it on the snowy, cold weather. I’m very attracted by wooden rooms, particularly bedrooms, they remind me so much about skiing cabins, where the fireplace and fur throws are rocking the world, making it all so cozy and warm. I mean, wouldn’t you LOVE to spend your winter holidays in a bedroom like this?
Serbian Made: Photographer Miloš Nadaždin
Well, good morning, sweets! Hope you had a lovely Christmas (if you celebrated it) or a great weekend. I’m here with a Serbian Made feature and am ready to introduce you to a huge talent born and living in Serbia: please meet Miloš Nadaždin, photographer who captures far above what your eye can see! He’s a fashion & beauty photographer and the very first instant I saw Miloš’s work I was smitten by those unique and gorgeous pictures! He shoots vintage scenes, sexy and sophisticated ones, relaxed and beach-y scenes and much, much more! I know Miloš Nadaždin is a favorite of many people around here and I definitely understand why – his work is beyond inspiring!
Merry Christmas {and happy weekend!}
Well, my dears, this week has finally come to its end and to say that I’m really happy about it would be an understatement! I’m thrilled it’s the weekend! And although here in Serbia Christmas is being celebrated on January 7th, I still find myself passively celebrating it on December 25th, this means I’ll light a candle, have a glass of wine in my hands and think how lucky I am to have my life exactly the way it is! And so in this festive spirit I leave you for the weekend, may you have warm holidays with your loved ones! Thank you to all of you for making this year so amazing, I couldn’t ask for more! Be blessed and make sure you make this holiday time memorable! xoxo
Home Tour: 1970′s villa
Hi everyone! The other day I came across a 1970’s villa tour and I couldn’t help, but post it here (I’m sure there’ll be lots of you who’ll love it, just like me). You’ll ask why? Here are hints: Scandinavian, washed out colors, plenty of white and pops of bright shades. Oh and stunning artwork! There’s a vintage-y modern vibe injected in those rooms which are enchanting! The home belongs to Marie and Bill and their two children. And I suggest you to read the entire post, I was impressed, to say the least. You all know my love for everything Scandinavian and am seriously thinking my home (you know, the dream home I’ll someday own :D) will be exactly like the one I’m showing you in this post, the below pictures are undoubtedly landing in my inspiration folder. What about you? How your dream home looks like?
{Gorgeous} Photography by Miki Duisterhof
Today while going through my multiple and very inspiring bookmarks I came across a name which caught my eye and spoke to me, whispering a tempting ‘stop’. I’m sure this happened to you at some point, right? Well, you won’t believe how mesmerized I was when I clicked on the category ‘Interiors’. All the pictures were right up my alley, very shabby chic, romantic and even feminine – and what else can a girl ask for after a working day :)? So the magic name is Miki Duisterhof and she’s a photographer, a fabulous one (just wait to see her clients: West Elm, William Sonoma, Veranda and many, many others!). Seriously, I was hypnotized by all that beauty! Here’s what I’m talking about:
Happy Weekend
Hello, my lovelies! I’ve been absent today (again), but this time a had a reason, a good one! I HAVE A JOB! I’m so happy, excited and overwhelmed with joy now, I needed this change in my life SO much! I mean blogging is good, but it’s quite hard to make a living from it, so a daily job was in my plans for a very long while! And it happened! Just for the record, my job is totally not design related, it’s related to what a have a degree in – economy (I bet many of you didn’t even know about this :D). Having a job will not affect blogging in any way and I’ll be posting as usual, however tweeting won’t happen as much as before (unfortunately), but hey – let’s look at the bright side of everything, life goes on and it promises to be better than ever!
Have a lovely weekend all! May all your dreams come true as this is such a blissful feeling (I know it really good :D)! See you on Monday! xoxo

Hello everyone! This week I have another great blogger to guest post as a part of the series meant to help us all with blogging and just everything that crosses your mind blog related! I’m very proud to welcome Tara Gentile, the creative, motivating and just genius mind behind Scoutie Girl and Tara Gentile! Awhile back I subscribed to Tara’s free e-course (which I recommend to all!) and was smitten by all the useful info, positive emails I was getting from Tara and one thing is clear for me: this lady knows what she’s talking about and her site is the perfect place to look for motivation and advice! And so I invited Tara to share some things with us and here she is! Don’t forget to take notes!
