Stylist Saša Antic

I came across the work of Stockholm based prop & set design stylist Saša Antic a while ago and just now I got to check on her portfolio and be amazed by the beautiful designs Saša is creating. A perfect balance of white crispy floors & colorful accessories are the best proof of the huge talent and sense of style Saša has. The spaces feel so real, it’s like the owners are just somewhere in the kitchen preparing a tasty tea to celebrate the beauty of their home. Not only the designs make for comfy homes, they’re just as trendy as you may imagine. And I think that’s really impressive (well, it was always impressive to me) when a stylist is able to put together in a home stylish, modern details and cozy touches. Take a look:

Gemma Comas Photography

It’s always so addictive to check the portfolios of photographers that you never heard about, but you realize that their work is spectacular and you can’t stop flipping through pages of pictures, isn’t it? Well, that’s what happened when I stumbled upon Gemma Comas and her portfolio. The interiors she’s shooting are beautiful and very inspiring. And I couldn’t define her style, whether it’s a romantic or playful one. However, Gemma is definitely a talented photographer and there is nothing left now than just suggest you to visit her site and blog and look through her food, still life and travel photography – you won’t regret!

Vintage tea party

Wouldn’t be nice to host a vintage tea party, call your girlfriends, serve tea in mismatched vintage tea cups and enjoy mini-cupcakes? Oh my, I’m drooling over the idea :). And yes, I said mismatched vintage tea cups as they’re just so many beautiful designs over there that it’s very hard to decide and choose one! Serbian Made: Like flowers and butterflies

Hi everyone! I hope your weekend was fabulous! Time for a new week ahead and now, looking through the window and seeing a sunny warm day (FINALLY, after two weeks of rain!) I can say this will be an amazing week! Today, as it became traditional already, it’s Serbian Monday – and a new very creative and just wonderful crafter! Little introduction: I finally put my hands on the new issue of Elle Dekor Serbia and oh, how much I love that magazine, they always have great features, beautiful pictures and useful advice! So, this week’s crafter was featured there and now please enter Katarina from Like flowers and butterflies! Needless to mention how HAPPY I was to read about Katarina there: she’s a thirty-something mom of three adorable children who are her inspiration and motivation to create clothing and accessories for the little ones. Not only she’s fabulous at designing and sewing, she also has another Etsy shop where she sells handmade acrylic doily silhouettes. I’m so proud of meeting such a talented, lovely lady like Katarina and I should also mention that her work was featured in various magazines: Country Living, Belle Armoire, Elle Dekor (twice) and more; she was interviewed for a local TV channel and oh, well, you must see her work in order to understand what do I mean: please check her blog, Etsy shop for the little ones Flowers and butterflies, Etsy for home decorations, bags and more, I wanna be or Flickr, for more eye-candy. Katarina is shipping world wide and you should check her stores, you don’t want to miss that! I highlighted some things I liked the most (so hard to decide!):

Hey everyone! So far, I didn’t blog about food photography here, but now I couldn’t resist! Mostly all photographers are taking pictures of food and all the pictures are just so fabulous and yummy, but then I came across Alexandra Grablewski and her portfolio few days ago and yes, she is taking gorgeous pictures, but the food…oh my…to die for! Seriously, how talented is she to make just a photo make you drool? But you take a look and then tell me, are you drooling as well or it’s just me?

Before & After: Bonnie’s back porch

The back porch makeover was completely done by Bonnie from Going home to roost blog and from the very first second I saw the beautiful pictures, I knew I must share this with all of you! Bonnie did such a great job, the makeover is drool-worthy and a great proof that you don’t need to spend lots of $ to have a fabulous back porch (plenty of DIY projects made for under $300 result). OK, I’m stopping to speak now, visit Bonnie’s blog to read more (and follow her posts within the next weeks as she’ll reveal the DIY projects). Here are some of the pictures:

Color+Inspiration: Chartreuse

I prepared one more color inspiration post and this time it’s about chartreuse! This is the color we get when mixing the same amounts of green and yellow, so you understand that if adding more green we get a bright chartreuse and if we add more yellow – we get yellow chartreuse! But these shades are far away from being the only variations of chartreuse, I was surprised to find out that apple green, olive green, yellow green and more are also variations of chartreuse! I found some inspirational pictures and please, don’t be amazed the variety of colors you’ll see – they’re all meeting the title of this post: chartreuse! Enjoy!

P.S. I also prepared a chartreuse color palette with some of the variations (there are more!). I hope it will help you define the color :)
