I watched yesterday “2012″… Amazing movie, great effects…BUT!.. it was way to hard for me to see “our near future” from the director’s point of view. Roland Emmerich and Harald Kloser thought about how to make a best-seller, but they forgot to think about the impact that this movie can have on human’s psychology :(. The movie has plenty of exciting moments, but at the same time a lot of sad moments, moments that almost made me cry; I think you will all agree that it’s painful to see how family (mother, father and a child) is killed by a tsunami, and they can’t do anything, and they just watch the huge wave coming toward them.
I heard a lot of comments about this movie and the conclusion I made is: “Don’t forget that it is just a movie, is made for cinema and don’t take it too seriously!”. This made me feel better a little and I think I will trust more comments like this than the director of the movie. So, we don’t have anything else to do than to be optimist and remember that 2012 will be a regular year, bringing good and bad moments, but for sure not the Apocalypse!
