Yesterday, me and my husband had the delicious idea to make crepes. For those who don’t know what is a “crepe” (like me, for example), I’ll explain: crepe=pancake!!! The well-known pancake that we all love has its other name, crepe, from Brittany, North-West of France, but now is widely developed in all France and became there something like “national cuisine”. There you can find crepes filled with fancy products or crepes with sugar, the taste is still delightful!
So, as I started to say, yesterday we made crepes and decided that we will not make only one kind of pancakes, but instead we will fill them with different products that we can find in the fridge. First of all we needed to make the batter for our crepes. For this we needed:
1. 200 g of flour
2. 2 eggs
3. 1 tbs. of oil
4. 200 ml of milk
5. 200 ml of mineral water (room temperature)
6. 1 tbs. of sugar
First step is to pour the milk, eggs, mineral water and sugar in a bowl and stir well. After this we added little by little the flour until we got an homogeneous mass and at the end we added the oil and stirred once again.
We finished the batter and then we fried the crepes. For this you need a pan rubbed with little butter or oil. The batter is spread evenly over the cooking surface of the pan either by tilting the pan or by distributing the batter with an offset spatula.

We made sweet and salty crepes, the sweet ones we filled with chocolate cream and jam, the salty ones were with sour-cream and ham, but you can put there everything your imagination suggests you to put :).
Bon appetit!!!
