Guest post: Wall organizers

Hello, my dears! As promised, the first guest post on CreamyLife. Please welcome my dear friend Nastya and support her with some nice comments :). xo Ludmila

Hello, Creamy Life readers!
My name is Nastya and I’m glad to be a guest in this lovely blog made by sweet Ludmila. She was so kind to let me write about anything I like. It wasn’t hard because she inspired me so much with her job. Today I wanna tell you about wall organizers – both nice and functional elements of wall decor. Here are some examples how wisely we could use our walls:

1.One of the first organizers of this kind was designed by Dorothee Becker and appeared in 1969,being still actual.
2. It is a very ingenious idea how to combine good and pleasant.
3. Gorgeous one for the bathroom.
4. Multifunctional thing for everyone.
5. Wall organizers can be used everywhere, to save the space.
6. Nice sunny version for the home office.
7. This wall organizer designed for keeping tools in the basement.
8. DIY wall organizer for kid’s room

The examples can be endless, especially that you always can use your own imagination to create something new and absolutely original! Be free to improvise ;)

Hanging plates+News

Well, hello my dears! I know it’s Friday night (or maybe Sunday early morning), but I can’t sign off for the weekend yet! I need to share 2 things with you: 1. soon I’ll have the first guest post here, on CreamyLife. Without teasing you, I’ll just say that it’ll be something very nice and with much use. Stay tuned, please! 2. I couldn’t resist not to blog about hanging the plates on the wall! I mean, that’s so comfy and rustic! And doesn’t require so much effort (grab the plates from the kitchen and hang them – easy, isn’t it?). And it really doesn’t matter where you hang them, it’s all the same beautiful! The pictures I found are the best part of this blog post, I’m in love with hanging plates!

Wood+Stone+Ceramics

It isn’t that complicated mathematical relation here, I’m just writing about a Serbian studio Otklon which designs and creates furniture, accessories, lighting and more. And the most important is that everything is handmade and you can see through the work some great artists and just wonderful persons who are devoted to what they’re doing: creating and bringing joy to customers. The studio was a part of lots of exhibitions ever since 2008. I really hope they will organize more exhibitions so I can go and see them, I’d be so happy!

Interior Stylist Irina Graewe

I don’t know where did I spot interior editor and stylist Irina Graewe, but today I stumbled upon her site between my bookmarks. I took a look once again and her work is absolutely something to be shared with you. It’s something different than what I see every day, it’s so extravagant, but not vulgar. Call it however you want, but one thing is clear – this lady knows how to catch your eye with the images she’s featuring on her site.

Home Tour of the “Charming Villa”

Hello everyone! Today I’m little late with posting, I was busy arranging the flowers I bought in the morning :). And I’ll start this beautiful spring day with the home tour of Danish stylist and writer Katrine Martensen-Larsen. Her home in Frederiksberg was built in 1911, but redesigned by Katrine and her family: husband and 5 children. Sounds incredible  how somebody can decorate a home for 7 people of different ages and still don’t loose its mind, right? Anyways, I liked the villa very much! The black and white wallpaper in the living room cheers up a bit the neutral colors that dominate in the home. Also, the kids’ room is very adorable and sweet! Please take a look:

Color+Inspiration: Cream

Today I caught myself thinking how it comes I never blogged, alright I didn’t even mention cream color?! I mean I have a blog named CreamyLife! So much related to cream and I completely ignored the beautiful color. Silly me…But anyways it’s better later than never, isn’t it? And while I was searching for nice cream colored interiors, I was surprised how often this color is used for the walls, furniture or rugs. Being so obsessed with bold colors lately, I forgot about the cute and gentle touch of neutral colors. I’ll do my best to change this habit and my start will be with cream colored inspirational pictures:

Normann-Copenhagen

Normann-Copenhagen is a shop (in Copenhagen – who’d guess? ha!) founded in 1999 by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen. They and their 55 employees don’t sell things, they create them and do this in a very untraditional way, because as they say: “they like seeing the world in a different way”. That is so great, isn’t it? I profoundly admire people who have the creative mind to make things,  to invent their own designs and share with us. Their products are really unusual, but actually that’s what makes them so special, right? Please take a look:

Color+Inspiration: Black+Yellow

I’m sorry I didn’t post anything in this category lately, but here I am now! And today I have for you a very very gorgeous combo of colors: black and yellow – sunny and glamorous, chic and cheerful. I do think this combination speaks everything for itself, the yellow palette creates the warm atmosphere while the black brings a touch of mystery and style. As contradictory this mix seems to be, I think it’s so inspiring and a living room (for example) would become the most attracting place in the home!
