Who thinks that the living room is one of the most important in the house? Alright, I see you! And I agree with you! Besides bedroom (that turns to be the most important), the living room has the role of gathering friends and family and it definitely should be inviting, warm and cozy, don’t you think so? I’ve been attracted by nice living rooms lately, so I searched for them,of course. Just to check some styles and designs…That’s what I’ve found:
And who doesn’t love fuchsia? Impossible not to love it as it’s such a cheerful color, full of life. I would place fuchsia next to turquoise and yellow in my list (you know last two are my favorites, right?). So for a brighter spring and a happier life I recommend using fuchsia as the main color for your space. Oh, you need inspiration? Here it comes:
You’ll ask who’s Rie Elise Larsen? I didn’t know them until today, when I saw it on Decor8 and yes, this store took my heart. I’m starting to think that Danish designers are more than just talented, they have the taste of style as a gift from up there and now I can’t help myself than just love this store, adore it and enjoy it! Well and hope that one day I’ll have the honor to go shopping there :).
Hello once again, friends! Hope you had a great start of the week! I would like to share with you now a home that certainly completes my list of my dream homes. You can get from there plenty of inspiration and that’s exactly where we’re going to, right? As I said, the home belongs to Ann Marie Favot, my favorite Style at Home‘s design editor and it deserves the best appreciation! Decorated with white, it seems so perfect, I adore both the design and details of the home. Take a look:
Yes, please! I realized that life is all about colors, brighter the colors, more cheerful the life :). So why not to have bold bright pinks and blues everywhere, including kitchen? Great idea, huh? And yes, I know that colors are of pretty personal taste, but let me tell you one thing, the best therapy for me is the color therapy, just makes me feel alive! So why don’t give it a try (at least imaginary)? Here is something to make it easier:

Now since spring has come we all have the huge wish to be outside as much as we can, enjoying the sun and the spring/summer breeze. And believe me, these moments I want so badly to live in a house with a backyard, to decorate it in my favorite style (or styles) and just don’t move from there :). Aw people, you have no idea how much I LOVE sun and outdoor living. Here is something to get inspired of:
Recently I stumbled upon an Etsy shop which took my heart immediately. It’s called The love shop and you can find there lots of printed quotes or simply nice words. All of them come in different colors and would be a great detail to any interior!

Another home which I truly like and day dream about belongs to Janell Beals, author of Isabella and Max rooms, who was really nice to allow me blog about her great DIY-ed home. The thing is that the very talented Janell designs her home according to her family members’ needs. For example, after having an interview with her son (how cute is that?), Janell understood what does he want and guess what, the little man now has a chalkboard stripe on the walls so he can write there and a huge painted map (which is still in process of being done). Have you got to see real gypsies? But I mean real-real ones, forever travelers and people whose life is in a permanent movement from country to country aka nomadic people. I didn’t see them for real, but I saw quite good improvisations of gypsies (in some movies, hehe). I bet some of you did see them, another ones didn’t, but one thing is clear – we all know what is a bohemian style and that it actually came from gypsies (it was their lifestyle). So let me tell you one thing: this style is so gorgeous, the colors can drive somebody insane and I can easily get lost in the beauty and wildness of all the color combos and patterns. In my future home, one room will be decorated in bohemian style and that’s a decision! :)
