Swedish Retro

I want to share with all of you now a home located in Sweden, designed by the talented Katrine Martensen-Larsen (remember I blogged about her home here?). It belongs to a young married couple and their two kids. The home is decorated in a funky retro style with touches of vintage and modern. That space feels very warm and inviting, with all the big windows and wood floors (might seem to be a little of Scandinavian, but it’s not). Take a look and convince yourself:

Daisy from Copenhagen

Please enter Daisy Home, a store in Copenhagen that breathes with vintage! A very nice way to use vintage wallpapers for decorative boxes for jewelry and stuff like this (we, girls, know how much we need cute storage boxes, don’t we?). Handmade lampshades, fashion goodies, jewelry – all these you can find there! One thing is more than clear, the colors that have been used for the home accessories are amazingly beautiful – bright, bold and so very inspiring! A great way to bring the life in a room using the colorful boxes or lampshades! Take a look:

Vintage finds by The Sunday Times Market

The Sunday Times Market is an Etsy shop which brings us plenty of modern, vintage items. Hello! Modern vintage is a blissful combination for me (you know that besides turquoise I love vintage). And you’ll not believe how relaxed and chic is this store. At some point I was feeling like I’m in my grandma’s old house, surrounded by everything vintage. Aw,  a dreamy feeling! I selected some very favorite things there, ready to share with you!

Barbara White Photography

Ever since I started my adventure in blogging, I’ve been constantly grateful to the blogland for every thing they taught me and showed me. Various talented interior designers and stylists, so creative photographers and DYI-ers. The list is endless, but one thing is clear: I feel so much more satisfied with myself now, since I’ve learned so much. I couldn’t be happier! Back to my post now, another great architectural photographer I stumbled upon recently changed my life in a way. If you’re following my blog, you probably know my preferences in interior design and decor. But today I was so much into something different, new for me: glamorous and dramatic interiors, with a touch of royal. I will confess though, I’m still not a big fan of it, but the photography of Barbara White impressed me pretty much.

Hanging plates+News

Well, hello my dears! I know it’s Friday night (or maybe Sunday early morning), but I can’t sign off for the weekend yet! I need to share 2 things with you: 1. soon I’ll have the first guest post here, on CreamyLife. Without teasing you, I’ll just say that it’ll be something very nice and with much use. Stay tuned, please! 2. I couldn’t resist not to blog about hanging the plates on the wall! I mean, that’s so comfy and rustic! And doesn’t require so much effort (grab the plates from the kitchen and hang them – easy, isn’t it?). And it really doesn’t matter where you hang them, it’s all the same beautiful! The pictures I found are the best part of this blog post, I’m in love with hanging plates!

Shabby Chic

Hello, my dears! How was your Easter? Did you go Egg hunting? My holiday was pretty much fun, day with family, evening in a cafe on a boat. Today outside is cloudy and cold, I’m at home and although I said “See you on Tuesday” I thought it’s enough being apart from all of you, so here I am :). My week started with Elle Dekor Serbia and now I’ll blog about a home featured in the magazine decorated in shabby chic. If to be straight with you, I didn’t know this style exists until now, but after I saw the pictures of the home of interior designer Alma Muzurović-Šimunović from Croatia, I fell in love! Oh well, I guess my future home has the chance to be decorated in shabby chic, as my love for modern country doesn’t seem to be so big anymore ;).

Urban aka Modern Country

And that’s exactly the mix of styles I want for my future home! You know I was often navigating through different styles and designs and guess what, today while I was enjoying my new design book (upcoming post – stay tuned!) I finally pictured in my mind the future home and it turned out being decorated in a modern country way. And actually it looked pretty charming and inviting. So, the following images are exclusively pictures I would consider inspirational for my future home and I think they worth being seen :)

And a bit more of vintage

And again a blog post related to kitchen. This time we’ll be safely drowning in vintage style and if to be more precise, in vintage houseware. I must confess something to you, my friends, I’m so sorry for not having anything from my grandparents’ or even grand-grandparents’ homes (it just happened that at that time I was too young to realize I love vintage), that would’ve been so huge treasure of vintage stuff, I would be the happiest. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be and I should be picking up vintage now, whenever I have the opportunity to get one. So, vintage in the kitchen:
