Don’t know if you have noticed it, but these days birdcages are everywhere in interior design industry. From wallpapers to lighting fixtures to cushions they are very popular details to accessorize with! And I’m really drooling over a shabby birdcage, so I can put in a candle, a pretty little faux birdie to cheer my days up :). Sounds blissful and oh so chic, right? Chandelier heaven
Happy Monday, lovelies! How was your weekend? I hope you had a smashing one and let me just say that mine was busy and that this new week promises to be pretty exciting, which I’m wishing to you as well. And this new blogging week is starting with a tribute to chandeliers of all kind! See, the thing is that when you decide to have a chandelier in your home, it needs to be glamorous, astonishing and the image of perfection! Don’t be afraid to give your room a sparkly effect, don’t avoid making a chandelier a focal point as once you do it, your space will tend to shine and smitten everyone around. People might envy you for being daring and luxurious, but who cares, you’re living the life your style!

Elle Dekor fall issue
Happy Friday all! Elle Dekor Serbia, fall issue, is finally on newsstands (they kept us excited for way too long time!), but it’s now available for all and oh the expectation was so worth it! We got to see a blissful cover, designed in the colors of fall, bringing peaceful feelings to it. The inside part didn’t disappoint either! We saw stunning folklore-inspired pictures, with patterned layers and cozy colors! Seems like rich hues are what rock interior design scenes this season. We were introduced to its majesty, wood, which also seems like settled down for a while, emanating warmth and natural beauty all over! We were invited to the home of painter Bojana Ban, architect Slavica Trajkovic, Lea Aviani and more. Oh and by the way my friend Marija‘s Jimi chair is also in Elle Dekor! How cool is that? Congratulations to her! Here are some pictures, so you can see what I’m talking about!

Rue Magazine review
I bet you already know about Rue Magazine, you were anxiously expecting its launch, counting down the days until today, right? Well, you were not alone in this and just as you, I couldn’t wait for Rue to go live! And it did! Yep, Rue Magazine is out in all its glory! And let me tell you that is truly GRAND! With nearly 300 pages, it has plenty of inspiration for us to indulge ourselves, gorgeous home tours and utterly amazing interior designers, stylists, bloggers and overall wonderful people! The Rue team, Crystal, Anne, Alaina and Caitlin (along some seriously amazing contributors!), did a fantastic job and I’m so proud for being a part of this community and to know them through blog land! I won’t say anything else, here are some of my picks and PLEASE check the magazine for more! Believe me you won’t be sorry!
Color+Inspiration: Coral+Green
And we met again, my friends! After yesterday’s news I understood even better how important is to have you all and how much your support means to me, I can only be eternally grateful for all the tweets on Twitter and comments and thank God I’m blessed to have so amazing readers! On another note, today on creamylife’s Facebook page I posted this picture which inspired me to write my today’s post, asking if you can guess what is it about. And I got suggestions, though nobody guessed that I was smitten by the lovely, live color combo on the package which afterward guided me to put together this color+inspiration post. So now I’m absolutely in love with coral and green in all their shades (from pinky to peachy coral to mint, apple to pale green – no limits!) and if the below pictures feel too chaotically chosen, think better about the abundance of color ideas you can get!

Hi friends! Something really ‘interesting’ happened to me today (if you’re following me on Twitter you already know): while searching for creamylife on Google Blogs (which is showing me blogs where creamylife, links and title, was mentioned) I came across one site (won’t bother naming it so I don’t provide traffic to them) which is STEALING my posts! Not all of them, apparently they’re selecting the ones they like more and when this is done, they entirely copy/paste them, including pictures (without credit of course!). Everything is the same, they don’t even mind having the word ‘creamylife’ there and probably my name somewhere too. However I wanted to let you all know (those who are planning to ‘borrow’ this way, without linking back and giving credits) that in the right sidebar of this blog you can find what do I think about copyright and what you are ALLOWED to do with what you see on creamylife! Please read that before being so creative and updating regularly your site with MY posts. P.S. If you want to know what did I do about the above mentioned site – I reported it to Google and hopefully this will stop!

Supermarket Concept Store in Belgrade
So you remember the last Serbian artist featured on creamylife, don’t you? Sure you do! My utterly talented friend Marija, who’s creating funky furniture that can be found in Supermarket concept store here in Belgrade. Well, I wanted to show you some pictures of this store as I had the chance to go there this past Saturday and let me tell you the store is nothing but a modern, extravagant, eclectic and not-your-average store I’ve ever seen! And it’s not just a store, you’ll find there restaurant, SPA and beauty salons, flower shop, clothing shops and just everything you’d need! Seriously, I kid you not, that place is awesome! I managed to snap some shots, before a lady told me I’m not allowed to take pictures (but why can’t I? I’ll never understand this!):

Home Tour: Ceramicist Anne Black
Well hello again! I’m very excited to feature this home tour as it’s a huge delight to see my dream home in person, sort of (even though somebody else lives there). And not just somebody, but the amazing ceramicist Anne Black! She is a Danish designer creating porcelain items that are classical with a modern twist, it comes in lovely colors and shapes and seeing her home didn’t come as a surprise to me – a person with such an aesthetics and a fine sense of style can’t do otherwise with decorating her own nest. How is Anne’s home? So glad you asked! It’s crispy clean, modern, stylish and the best of it is that you can see splashes of hot colors here and there, such as red Eames Eiffel chair, black, mismatched dining chairs (and don’t think that black isn’t a splash of color in that home, I assure you it is!) and more. Welcome to a new week, friends! Hope your weekend was relaxing and now you’re ready to face a Monday, Serbian Monday here on creamylife. As it became a tradition, with another Monday we get to meet another Serbian creative and talented mind and this time is about somebody very special, my dear friend Marija! Marija Djordjevic is an interior designer and furniture creator, who studied and lived in Canada and now she is in Belgrade, trying to manage the multitude of design projects she has and her love for creating furniture (her crazy busy schedule makes it quite complicated, but she’s doing great, if I say so myself). I need to mention that the furniture created by Marija can be found at Supermarket Concept store (dreamy place! I’ll write another post about it soon), so if you’re local, go and take a look!
