Everyday fabulous {October 5th, 2010}

The image I came across today is STUNNING and I needed to share it with you! You guys will be amazed by the colors you’ll see and not because of an abundance of colors, but by a subtle yet contrasting combo of two shades. I’m speechless!

OMG! Normally I’d never think about combining these two colors, but the way they look here together is just fantastic, beyond words! I think the combo is BRILLIANT! P.S. This kitchen is pretty fabulous too, right (besides colors)? What do you think?

Etsy: Wearable art by Floreal

Hello all! I’ve been thinking lately that I didn’t show some Etsy love here on creamylife, but this doesn’t mean that I stopped checking regularly Etsy shops, being inspired by the lovely handmade items and amazed by the huge talents out there. So now is the perfect moment to do it, even more because the owner of an adorable shop contacted me and kindly suggested that I take a look at her Etsy wonderland, Floreal shop. Ruchi does pretty jewelry from polymer clay, mixing and matching colors and shapes to create as she says “wearable art”. Although Ruchi is not a professional jeweler, she designs fabulous earrings, necklaces, brooches and more which are so much fun, but what’s the most important her jewelry is looking amazing (and she has couple necklaces that are PERFECT for fall wardrobe, you’ll see below)!

Random Loveliness

I realized that I never did a ‘random’ post, which is not random, of course, but it doesn’t have a predefined topic I want to discuss with you or pictures I’m asking opinions about. This is a post for a Monday evening, when we’re four days away from the weekend, instead of five like we were this morning, when after running back and forth all day, we can finally sit back and relax with a cup of tea (so comforting!) or a glass of wine (depends on how crazy your day was haha). The pictures I chose for this post are from pinterest and the only thing to do now is to enjoy them. Hope you all had a lovely Monday!

Serbian Made: Dugmence

Good Monday morning, friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend, but it’s now time for a new week, new expectations and plenty of work to be done! I’m kicking off this new week with a Serbian made post (how unpredictable, right?), please enter Kristina, crafter behind Dugmence site! Kristina is creating what can only be called dreamy and so close to our hearts – bags, purses, wallets and how do we love all this, don’t we? But Kristina’s work isn’t just useful, it’s also so pretty, I could easily die for it! The bags, purses and everything the rest is handmade by Kristina, designed by her from scratch and you can feel the huge talent she has by looking at the designs! Besides bags, purses and wallets (which I focused on in this post), seems like Kristina is attracted by patchwork and she loves to create bedspreads made with this technique (you must see those bedspreads! they’re gorgeous!). For now, here are those things that us, girls, can’t live without!

Hot trend: Leopard print

Happy Friday all! Are you as happy for the weekend as I am?! To wrap up this blogging week, I thought I’ll discuss with you a hot topic this season (as seen both in fashion and interior design industries) – leopard print! Have you seen that it’s everywhere? Truth being told, I like this pattern more when is used in a subtle way, as accent details in a space rather than when the room is all dressed up in leopard: less leopard print is chic and appealing and stylish, more leopard is vulgar (and this is solely my opinion!). While looking for inspirational pictures, I’ve seen lots of leopard on chairs whether dining chairs or in the living room and I find this a great idea for creating a charming and sophisticated atmosphere in a room, without making it too overwhelming. However, here are my finds and you just must tell me what do you think about leopard!
