Home Tour: Ceramicist Anne Black

Well hello again! I’m very excited to feature this home tour as it’s a huge delight to see my dream home in person, sort of (even though somebody else lives there). And not just somebody, but the amazing ceramicist Anne Black! She is a Danish designer creating porcelain items that are classical with a modern twist, it comes in lovely colors and shapes and seeing her home didn’t come as a surprise to me – a person with such an aesthetics and a fine sense of style can’t do otherwise with decorating her own nest. How is Anne’s home? So glad you asked! It’s crispy clean, modern, stylish and the best of it is that you can see splashes of hot colors here and there, such as red Eames Eiffel chair, black, mismatched dining chairs (and don’t think that black isn’t a splash of color in that home, I assure you it is!) and more. Here are some pictures, to see the entire home tour go here.

Home Tour: Yvonne from SimplYvonne

Hi everyone! Recently I was introduced to a site which is a delight for all of us, design-addicts-loving-real-homes, it’s about Deco my place. Last week I spent couple days (!) browsing through all the pictures that users upload, usually pictures are of their homes. And I came across an extraordinary home, one of the most elegant and modern I’ve seen lately! Long story short, that home belongs to Yvonne, author of Simplyvonne blog, and her husband, they bought their home two years ago and have been renovating-redecorating ever since. But the result is so worth the input! I think I wasn’t breathing while looking at the pictures of Yvonne’s home. Mostly in brown and cream, the living and dining rooms are superb, the bedroom is a light space, the only bright colors seen in the sheets which are Yvonne’s weakness. That home is a perfect proof that life is all about little details and it’s a must-see, people!

Perhaps you’ve seen the beautiful pictures I sometimes post on creamylife and link to an amazing lady Ivy style. She has some gorgeous taste, style and oh well, photography. She’s a Frankfurt based freelance decorator, aspiring to work for a real, big company. I came across her home yesterday and couldn’t help myself but sigh very loud! It’s a peaceful place, decorated mostly with white and earthy browns and I start thinking that maybe these neutrals are the same stunning as the bright colors I always talk about, what do you think? However, here are sneak peeks of Ivy’s home:

Home Tour: Vanilla Dream

Vanilla Dream is a white home located in Sweden, where a family of four live their vanilla dream. The couple renovated their home completely, starting with ceilings and finishing with floors. And it’s truly impressive what they’ve done, the white cottage looks so classic styled and very charming as I think they white bleached floors are what give to the home the feeling of a modern place. That home is dreamy indeed and I hope you’ll enjoy the tour:

Home Tour: Tricia Guild from Designers Guild

There is no way you didn’t hear about Designers Guild, a company founded in the 70’s by Tricia Guild and her brother Simon Jeffreys. They sell beautiful fabrics, wall coverings, upholstery, bed and bath collections throughout Europe and worldwide! A home in Italy

I’m back again, lovelies! I know I has been quite here today, I hope you’ll forgive me. I’m bringing to you now the tour of a home located in Lucca, Italy. Decorated in mostly white color tones, with touches of beige and silver shades, the home is so neat and calming that I couldn’t resist and don’t show it to all of you! The most what I like of this home is the divider between the kitchen area and dining room – a sheer curtain that is just as simple as you could think of! I know I’m teasing you too much, here it is! Enjoy and see you tomorrow!
