A home in Italy

I’m back again, lovelies! I know I has been quite here today, I hope you’ll forgive me. I’m bringing to you now the tour of a home located in Lucca, Italy. Decorated in mostly white color tones, with touches of beige and silver shades, the home is so neat and calming that I couldn’t resist and don’t show it to all of you! The most what I like of this home is the divider between the kitchen area and dining room – a sheer curtain that is just as simple as you could think of! I know I’m teasing you too much, here it is! Enjoy and see you tomorrow!

Stylist Saša Antic

I came across the work of Stockholm based prop & set design stylist Saša Antic a while ago and just now I got to check on her portfolio and be amazed by the beautiful designs Saša is creating. A perfect balance of white crispy floors & colorful accessories are the best proof of the huge talent and sense of style Saša has. The spaces feel so real, it’s like the owners are just somewhere in the kitchen preparing a tasty tea to celebrate the beauty of their home. Not only the designs make for comfy homes, they’re just as trendy as you may imagine. And I think that’s really impressive (well, it was always impressive to me) when a stylist is able to put together in a home stylish, modern details and cozy touches. Take a look:

Before & After: Bonnie’s back porch

The back porch makeover was completely done by Bonnie from Going home to roost blog and from the very first second I saw the beautiful pictures, I knew I must share this with all of you! Bonnie did such a great job, the makeover is drool-worthy and a great proof that you don’t need to spend lots of $ to have a fabulous back porch (plenty of DIY projects made for under $300 result). OK, I’m stopping to speak now, visit Bonnie’s blog to read more (and follow her posts within the next weeks as she’ll reveal the DIY projects). Here are some of the pictures:

Color+Inspiration: Chartreuse

I prepared one more color inspiration post and this time it’s about chartreuse! This is the color we get when mixing the same amounts of green and yellow, so you understand that if adding more green we get a bright chartreuse and if we add more yellow – we get yellow chartreuse! But these shades are far away from being the only variations of chartreuse, I was surprised to find out that apple green, olive green, yellow green and more are also variations of chartreuse! I found some inspirational pictures and please, don’t be amazed the variety of colors you’ll see – they’re all meeting the title of this post: chartreuse! Enjoy!

P.S. I also prepared a chartreuse color palette with some of the variations (there are more!). I hope it will help you define the color :)

Stylist Aaron Hom

Good morning everyone! Although I said I’ll stop featuring so many artists, I couldn’t help it now, I’ll do it once again! The post is about the irresistible stylist Aaron Hom. You may recognize his work from the magazine House Beautiful. I’m really loving his style, it’s so neat, not too crowded and not minimalist though. It’s the right balance of colors, accessories and patterns in order to create relaxing and oh, so inspiring designs.

Color+Inspiration: Seafoam Green

Finally a ‘color inspiration’ post! These days I’m dreaming about a seaside getaway. With all the rain we’ve had the last few days – a spontaneous trip to the sea would be great! Thinking of all those refreshing, breezy colors sounds dreamy while being stuck in a city! But enough about the awful weather, let’s think of the seafoam green color, shall we? This color it’s such a fresh twist to any interior, isn’t it? When combined with deeper shades seafoam green creates the feeling of sophistication and style, unlike the mix of seafoam green and light colors – what a clean and refreshing look!

Home Tour: Dottie Angel

Hi lovelies! Yesterday, after doing an overall review of CreamyLife for the last couple weeks, one thing jumped right into my eyes: the tons of posts about photographers, stylists and designers. Oh my…how could I be so addicted to them and completely ignore beautiful colors, home tours and room inspirations?! And as gorgeous, talented and inspiring all the photographers, stylists and designers are, I should stop throwing at you so many features, right? And today, to diversify the content of CreamyLife a bit I’ll write about Dottie Angel‘s home. You all remember her, right? And just for the record: I LOVE sneaking a peek of a designer’s or blogger’s home. After meeting so many great bloggers online, reading their blogs, it’s so exciting to see how did the same people decorate their homes! What styles and colors do they like? So Dottie Angel (aka Tif) has a home full of pretty details that are pure delight for my eyes! Her home is so warm and inviting, with neat decorations and thrifty finds. Please take a look and enjoy:
