Amie Weitzman Interior Design

Amie Weitzman launched her own business, Amie Weitzman Interior Design, in 1999 and before this she was a popular fashion and fabric designer. Her style is a mix of classical with modern touches and it’s absolutely fabulous! She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City and a while ago Amie was the designer of the Ralph Lauren Home Collection. Impressive and no surprise her work was featured in magazines such as Elle Decor, Beautiful Homes, Better Homes & Gardens, Country Living, New York Home and others. Here are some designs for Amie’s portfolio:

An eclectic, modern style with bright yellows and crispy whites – doesn’t this sound attractive? He is combining new & vintage, high & low-end finds, Gary is the kind of person who finds inspiration everywhere, without having lots of troubles in creating a fresh design which will later indulge us. Funky Stairs

Hi, dears! Once again I’ll say that – I’m so grateful to online social media for the great inspiration it’s sharing every day! Example: I’m following Living Etc. on Twitter and today I saw a link they posted there, which took me to a gorgeous article on their site! The article was all about quirky staircases and I totally fell in love with the colorful ones. Pure gorgeousness and I’d be happy to have a rainbow staircase in my home. It would make for a cheerful atmosphere and a fun interior design. So I felt I needed to show the inspiring staircases to you and here they are:

Tall Headboards

Have you noticed a sort of a trend lately? Tall headboards are quite popular these days and they work great in a grown-up’s bedroom and even a kid’s room. The variety of colors and patterns is impressive and these headboards can make for a dramatic change in a room. Enough adding to a neutral bedroom a bright red (or any other) colored headboard and here you go, you end-up with a stylish, modern bedroom that doesn’t look overwhelmed with colors, but still colorful – you got the point, right? That’s about headboards, but what about tall headboards? I’m confused a bit. On one hand they’re modern and kind of royal, but on the other hand I really don’t know if I’d go with a tall headboard in my own bedroom. Don’t get me wrong, I love how tall headboards look on pictures and other bedrooms, but I’m not sure I’m in love with them. Here’s some inspiration:

Loving: Imperial Trellis

I’m seriously thinking I have a crush on Citrine Imperial Trellis pattern. It just looks so chic and it adds touches of royal to a room (after all it’s called Imperial for a reason) whether is on a pillow, wallpaper or upholstery. And yes, I’m loving it a lot lately, thinking where in my home to include this pattern. I found some inspirational pictures about how to use Imperial Trellis:

Drake Design

Good morning, lovelies and happy Friday! Yesterday when preparing this blog post I had a moment of gasp. I couldn’t choose pictures as they were too beautiful all (!) of them! And when I finally decided about the ones I need, I had in my folder around 20 images! Hello! As much as this blog is mine and I can do whatever want, 20 images were way too many! I’m talking about the designs of Jamie Drake. Have you ever checked his portfolio?! Stunning! His work is based on bold colors, modern yet inviting designs, mix of styles and let me say: the pictures of his designs are emanating professionalism, freshness and sense of beauty! It was the second time when I could barely speak and describe my feelings for Drake designs (the first time happened when checking Tobi Fairley‘s portfolio). Jamie Drake has a real talent, an eye for beautiful spaces and oh well, he’s my idol! Please take a look at the pictures:
