This Week’s Recap

Hi everyone! As all of you know, today is Friday, last day of the working week, the anticipation of the weekend, with late breakfasts, plenty of cuddling under cozy blankets with a book and a warm drink. Instead of treating you with another home tour or color+inspiration post, I decided to do a recap of my week, sharing with you things you maybe missed reading  or I missed telling you. I’ll admit that I’m a bit nervous to neatly organize all my impressions and thoughts from this week (although it’s not a BIG deal, right?), it’s like I feel I’m writing a short autobiography, based on one week’s events, you know what I mean?

Everyday during this week has been hectic, in a good way. I spent a lot of time researching about online marketing, strategies and steps toward achieving a decent position in this online world. My biggest news this week as you know already (yesterday I revealed it), I started working with a Serbian interior designer, Marija (I love that girl for her optimistic soul and supportive words!) and we’re on our way to open an online shop. The shop will have its honorable place on creamylife.com and will totally relate to my blog’s aesthetic and style (can you guess what am I talking about?). For now that’s all I can tell you about it, but I’m sure you’ll love what we’ll be selling! I’d also like to express my gratitude to all of you who sent me heart-warming emails, tweets and comments congratulating with doing this big step – your support means the world to me! Thank you!

Another exciting moment I experienced this week was awakening to how much I love creating mood boards! Seriously, I find it so relaxing to imagine a room, then browse for pictures which perfectly describe what was on your mind and be surprised of the abundance of other ideas and inspiration which come along! So I challenged myself to create one mood board every day. I have already two of them, which I’m uploading to creamylife’s Facebook page, here’s one of them:

I’m very grateful to the contributors to my ‘blogger to blogger‘ series: Erin, Leslie and Chedva. It’s indescribably amazing to read other bloggers’ thoughts about blogging, about our community and not least, our fears and worries. We all tend to have worldwide recognizable blogs, but we all know how hard and time-consuming this is. I’m happy to tell you that you’re not alone in this and ‘blogger to blogger‘ is here to help! I have many other talented and inspiring bloggers aligned for sharing their tips and advice, so be sure you don’t miss the upcoming posts!

While we’re at it, gratitude that is, I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Serbian artists who were a part of my Serbian made category. I said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m so proud of this category, I got to connect with many wonderful local crafters and designers (by the way, that’s how I met Marija, my now partner in crime and business). I so love to start my blogging week with a Serbian artist’s work, that has become a tradition already, Serbian Monday :)!

I’m SO looking forward to weekend! Quality time with my husband, long walks (fingers crossed it won’t rain!) and peaceful moments. Oh yes, and I can’t wait for tomorrow evening when I’ll get to meet other Serbian bloggers! I had the idea to organize this meet up, hoping to gather a few people and I was pleasantly surprised to see how everybody jumped in at the opportunity to get together. We’ll see at Supermarket Concept Store and before the chit chat will start we’ll get a tour of that awesome shop! How kind of them to host us? However, this is another story which I’ll share with you next week :).

How was your week? Do you have any plans for the weekend?

I leave you for the weekend now, thank you all for visiting creamylife this week and for the kindest comments, I now can’t imagine my life without you and your presence here!

P.S. This might be the longest post I’ve ever written on creamylife, but it’s a week recap, so please bear with me :)
